Kokkilai lagoon is one of the
best lagoons in Sri Lanka.This picturesque lagoon is situated in the Mullativu and Trincomalee districts in the North-East of Sri Lanka and designated as a wildlife sanctuary. The shallow water of the lagoon attracts lots of water birds including comorants,egrets, and herons.
